Most NASA educational materials provide guidance for educators. But it is still helpful to get some assistance. NASA has a variety of professional development opportunities on curriculum supplements and content. NASA is represented at major education conferences such as NSTA, NCTM, ITEA and NECC.

Each semester (fall and spring) JPL conducts an all-day Saturday, half-day Sunday educator conference on a hot topic on Earth or space science. Later this year, there will be a conference on stars and stellar evolution and what we've learned from space missions like the Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescopes.
You can receive general information on education news, and/or events for Southern California educators and space mission updates. You will be redirected to a Kintera website, JPL's e-mail news partner.
Also visit JPL's events calendar http://education.jpl.nasa.gov/events.html for upcoming activities. |
