NATIONAL SCIENCE BOWL
The National Science Bowl, coordinated by the Department of Energy, is a round robin/double elimination tournament that challenges high school students with questions about chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and astronomy, as well as general, earth and computer science.

NATIONAL OCEAN SCIENCES BOWL
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl, coordinated by the Consortium for Oceanographic Research and Education, is in many ways similar to the National Science Bowl but focuses specifically on ocean-related topics. Student teams compete nationwide, answering questions about biology, chemistry, geology and physics of the oceans, as well as navigation, geography and related history and literature.
