Student Competition NATIONAL SCIENCE BOWL
The National Science Bowl, coordinated by the Department of Energy, is a round robin/double elimination tournament that challenges high school students with questions about chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and astronomy, as well as general, earth and computer science.

Student Competition NATIONAL OCEAN SCIENCES BOWL
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl, coordinated by the Consortium for Oceanographic Research and Education, is in many ways similar to the National Science Bowl but focuses specifically on ocean-related topics. Student teams compete nationwide, answering questions about biology, chemistry, geology and physics of the oceans, as well as navigation, geography and related history and literature.

Student Competition FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION
The FIRST Robotics Competition is a national engineering contest which immerses high school students in the exciting world of engineering.Teaming up with engineers from businesses, universities and research institutions, the students get a hands-on, inside look at the engineering profession.

Student Competition JPL ANNUAL INVENTION CHALLENGE
The JPL Annual Invention Challenge is ready for its seventh year. The purpose of this competition is to provide some entertainment for the JPL employees and invited friends. Another purpose is to promote the science and engineering fields within the JPL community in a creative and fun way.
