PROGRAMS
Program: NASA Graduate Student Research Program (GSRP)
Description: The goal of NASA's GSRP is to cultivate research ties to the academic community, help to meet the continuing needs of the nation's aeronautics and space effort by increasing the number of highly trained scientists and engineers in aeronautics and space related disciplines, and to broaden the base of students pursuing advanced degrees in science, mathematics, and engineering.
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted as a full-time graduate student in an accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Program: International Space University
Description: The Master of Space Studies (MSS) Program is a graduate program bringing together students from many countries and disciplines. The broad, interdisciplinary placement is an opportunity for students to carry out in-depth work in a particular area.

Program: Space Grant
Description: Space Grant is an national network of 52 state consortia to strengthen colleges and universities with interests and cpapabilities in aeronautics, space science and technology, and related field, and encourage cooperative programs among colleges, universities, business, federal, state, and local governments.
Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate US Citizen enrolled full-time or accepted for full-time at a Space Grant affliated college or university. Contact the state Space Grant authority for more information; Faculty.
Deadline: Competitions for awards are generally held January.

Program: Planetary Science Summer School
Description: Provides one-week intensive team exercise learning the process of developing a mission concept into reality, and learning about mission lifecycles.
Eligibility: Science and engineering graduate and post-doc students with a strong interest in careers in planetary exploration.
Deadline: Applications are usually solicited in the spring.

Program: Graduate Education for Minorities (GEM)
Description: Comprehensive nationwide program established to identify, recruit and enroll minority science and engineering students in graduate programs leading to an advanced degree.
